Why do I have to upload a list of units? What should the list look like?
You may think the list in your FDD will suffice, but most FDDs only show units opened by the end of last year. We need verification of the units open as of 7/31 of this year, so unless you haven’t grown at all in the last seven months, it will be necessary to upload a new list. A great list will be easy to read and count, include only open and operating units, clearly indicate which units are franchises vs. company-owned, and include as much detail as possible as evidence that the units are open (addresses if units are not mobile/homebased, opening dates, etc.). Excel files (.xls or .xlsx) are preferred, but Word docs or pdfs are also acceptable.
