Backorders are filled if a book is stocked and received within a 30-day window. Backordered books ship as soon as the title becomes available. If the title is still not available to ship after 30 days from the order date, the order will be cancelled and you will receive a notification of this cancellation via email.
Once a backorder is received, a hold will be placed on your credit card to authorize the order. Cards are charged when print orders ship and e-book orders are delivered via email.
