How can I increase the chances of my article being published?

All articles submitted to the Entrepreneur Leadership Network® are reviewed by an editor, and following these steps will help improve the likelihood of acceptance*:

  1. Follow the Writer Guidelines
Make sure your article aligns with our Writer Guidelines.
  2. Run your idea by your editor

We strongly recommend reaching out to your assigned editor with your pitch before writing. Provide the following article pitch:

    • Proposed headline: No less than 65 characters.
    • Article excerpt (deck): Summarize your article in 1–2 sentences (160 characters). What will readers learn or walk away with? What advice or steps will your article offer to serve readers (business leaders/entrepreneurs)?
    • Briefly outline what practical, actionable value the piece delivers for our audience.
  3. Pitch value-driven, original ideas
Avoid generic topics like “how to be productive” or “why mindset matters.” Instead, focus on unique, actionable insights based on your own experience, data, or perspective.

*We do not guarantee publication of any submission. Articles that fail to meet our editorial standards, require extensive rewriting or are deemed unsalvageable will not be published.
